Patio Table - DIY SERIES
The simple Patio Table made with spaced boards allows this group project to teach you basic home DIY skills. This class is a part of our new DIY series. This is a beginner class occurring once a week, spanning 4 evenings (we will also be offering this full DIY series across 2 full Saturdays). In this class students will learn about types of wood, wood theory, and how to select and buy wood for use on home projects. The skills acquired include jigsaw, circular saw use, drilling holes, screws and plugs, nails and hammer, power drill, cutting straight, and basic hand-tool usage.
MMATERIALS: Spruce-Pine-Fir (supplied)
LEVEL: Basic Skills
PREREQUISITES: None (open to beginners)
TOOLS: Electric jig saw, circular saw, electric drill, impact driver, hand tools
EXERCISE: Safe sequence of steps to take construction lumber and build a patio table.
DURATION: 14 hours (4 sessions) 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm

The class is open to beginners
