Weeklong Sessions

This course suits students ready for advanced woodworking who prefer working with others doing the same project. Prior experience will help students finish more work during sessions. The class focuses on planning, prepping materials, working with larger lumber, and selecting appropriate joints, with special attention to hand tool use alongside machines. Many students finish the joinery but need extra time beyond class to complete. Suggested Projects: Dutch Tool chest, bedside table, Roman Workbench, Round stool

MATERIALS: Various hardwoods (supplied)

LEVEL: Beyond Basics

PREREQUISITES: Previous class taken at Edge City (or instructor pre-approval)

TOOLS: Hand planes, chisels, tablesaw, jointer, planer, bandsaw

EXERCISE: Project bases semi-independent projects

DURATION: Varies (see class listing below)
