This single-session Taster Workshop introduces the core practical skills involved in creating a handmade wooden charcuterie board. This workshop is designed to give you an introduction to our teaching style and the process of creating a functional piece from timber. You will learn the basic techniques involved in preparing, shaping, and finishing a wooden project.

*Please note: This Taster Workshop is designed to introduce woodworking skills and techniques rather than complete a finished project to take home.

Selecting and preparing wood for a small woodworking project
Measuring, marking, and shaping techniques
Using hand tools safely and effectively
Basic cutting and shaping techniques
Smoothing and refining surfaces
Finishing techniques to create a functional finished piece
