A Saturday class, designed to provide a strong foundation for beginners working with a small group. This friendly class has been created to help beginning woodworkers develop safe, accurate and efficient woodworking techniques that lead to successful, and satisfying results.

MATERIALS: 1x4 S-P-F combined with hardwood lamination

TOOLS: Hand planes, chisels, table-saw, jointer, planer, bandsaw

EXERCISE: Safe sequence of steps to take wood and construct a small project box.

DURATION: 17.5 hours (five classes)

PROJECT: Students make a small decorative keepsake box with a lid.

TIME: 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm or 9:30 - 1:00pm (check the dates)
