Thurs Project COACHING
COACHING Drop-In Thurs 5:30 - 9:00PM
24.5 hours (7 session package ) $595 wood NOT included
Thursday night sessions (3.5 hours each night) provide an opportunity to work independently in our supervised workshop on your own projects. This is our best value as it has been discounted for a 7-session purchase. Bring your wood and project ideas and we will support you as you complete them.
A welcoming atmosphere allowing for group work, assistance with problem-solving and new friendships. This approach provides opportunities to develop your own projects while working together in a team setting, with supervisors offering detailed suggestions instead of direct instruction.
There are some restrictions in the materials youbring and the size of your project.
The coaching session is for intermediate level students to develop their building skills and undertake a project at their own pace. These sessions allow more time to complete the project with opportunities to attend future Thursday evenings by signing up for as many 7-sessions evenings as needed. Prerequisite: students should have completed the workshop safety in a previous class before registering for these sessions.
The four-legged stool projected and/or the chairmaking class is offered concurrently during these sessions. If a student wants to do a fixed project, wood include, please see the separate listing for chairmaking or the 4-legged stool.
There are also Friday mornings coaching sessions as well.
